They had three children and she died after 17 years of marriage. Four years later, Rubens was married to Helene Fourment, a young woman only sixteen years old. They had five children and he painted many portraits of her.

The painting is fantastic, just having trouble deciding where to hang it as it looks good everywhere. The painting was very well packaged and arrived in good time. I was concerned that it was coming from quite a long way away and might get damaged but I will have no concerns again. I love the painting so much, I am looking at purchasing another.
