      Jehan George Vibert was a prolific painter who's paintings often took the mickey out of the clergy ( The Duet, The Diet, Cardinal, Reading a Letter. At various stages in his life Vibert paintings were influenced by differing styles which is reflected in the breadth of type of paintings he produced.
