      The seacoast town of Jávea, south of Valencia, provided Sorolla with the subjects for many of his paintings. Some of the most popular were scenes of children swimming or bathing. These works allowed Sorolla ample opportunity to demonstrate his facility for the rendering of light and movement.

The painting is fantastic, just having trouble deciding where to hang it as it looks good everywhere. The painting was very well packaged and arrived in good time. I was concerned that it was coming from quite a long way away and might get damaged but I will have no concerns again. I love the painting so much, I am looking at purchasing another.
