      "A Grey Stallion In a Landscape " is another brilliant wildlife painting by George Stubbs which has been reproduced with great effort .
      This painting, showing a grey stallion in a dark wooded landscape, is not as usually simple for Stubbs, as it is enlivened by a luminous landscape . The little contrast between the light horse and the vivid background is as contrast to his ‘Horse and Lion’ paintings, when he included a white horse under attack in a cavernous landscape.

I ordered three paintings and they arrived sooner than expected. They're so so gorgeous. Two are hung in my living room and one in my dining room and I literally have to walk into those rooms throughout the day to look at the paintings.
